Bleak and lonely times
Assailed by winds of defeat
Down the lonely road to nowhere
Wondering where it'll take me...
With heavy heart and weary eyes
I'm on my perilous journey
Into Obscurity.....
Hate and fury fills my empty heart
A brazen flame that sets me apart
Dagger in the heart of idealist dreams
Myth and fantasy slain once again by the truth
I stand alone
On this forlorn shore
Lonely quest
My odyssey of death (and wisdom)
This is my song of triumph
Tears fill my eyes
As I embark on my voyage...
Pain of the past reveals to me
Illusions that bind me
Voyage through obscurity
Straying from path to path
Perplexing mysteries
Dreams so hard to grasp...
Through the void and through the storm
In zenith, or in nadir
At the summit or in the vale
My lone conviction: I’ll never yield...
"The path has never been so distant, I've never felt so far from home, but I must be strong, my soul is my guide, and the flame will take me home..."
Take me home...
But the voyage must go on...
